Samsung Innovation Campus to Train 20,000 Indian Students in Future Technologies in 2025
Samsung is significantly expanding its flagship CSR program, Samsung Innovation Campus, to train 20,000 students across India in 2025. This initiative focuses on imparting future-ready skills in Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Big Data, and Coding and Programming. The program, now spread across 10 states compared to just four last year, supports the Government of India’s Digital India and Skill India missions by equipping youth with in-demand digital and soft skills while providing placement assistance.
Major Focus and Program Reach
The training will prioritize students from underserved communities, aiming to democratize access to cutting-edge technology education across both urban and semi-urban areas. Special emphasis will be given to Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, with 5,000 students from each state receiving training. Samsung has signed agreements with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India and the Telecom Sector Skill Council, both approved by the National Skill Development Corporation, to implement the program through accredited training partners and centers.
Empowering India’s Youth for the Digital Economy
In addition to technical training in AI, IoT, Big Data, and coding, participants will also receive soft skills development to enhance workplace readiness. Eligible candidates will benefit from placement support, helping smooth transitions into relevant jobs in emerging tech fields. Since its launch in 2022, Samsung Innovation Campus has trained over 6,500 students, and this expansion aims to multiply its impact. Samsung’s leadership emphasizes the shared vision of fostering a digitally empowered India by unlocking opportunities for the youth and supporting their growth as innovators and professionals in a technology-driven economy. This initiative aligns with Samsung’s broader CSR strategy to empower India’s next generation through technology education and innovation.
